What tasks await you?

• We are looking for a software developer who will do the pioneering work with us and bring the next generation of Mercedes applications and thus additional driving fun in the form of apps and games into the vehicle.

• To this end, we develop and test digital products that run directly onboard in the vehicle and create new opportunities in mobility.

• As part of an agile, interdisciplinary team you will bring automotive topics together with the app world and bring in new ideas.

• You are responsible for carrying out structured and free system integration tests as well as end-to-end tests for the validation of innovative connectivity solutions both on test benches by means of simulations and in the vehicle during test drives.

• You carry out manual GUI tests on the test board and in the vehicle and perform error analysis using the DLT Viewer.

• For us, UX design is just as much a part of this as in-depth programming knowledge.

• No day is like any other, so variety is guaranteed.

How do you fit into our team?

• You have advanced experience and knowledge in the following technologies/frameworks:

• Qt /QML, golang, JavaScript, Kubernetes / Docker, web frameworks such as angular, react, Terraform, azure-cli, Azure DevOps, Linux, bash, scripting

• Ideally, you should be confident with the following tools: Monaco, TuT, EDLS, ET framework.

• You are well versed in test-driven development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, test automation and distributed version control (Git).

• You can communicate openly and empathetically and pursue goals with perseverance.

• You will develop a hands-on mentality of a fullstack developer, contributing your specialized expertise to the success of the team and the product.

• The user and the successful product are at the top of your list.

• You have experience in the field of agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban and identify with the agile mindset.

• Knowledge of IT in the vehicle is an advantage.

• You have a command of the German language, spoken and written English, and fluent English in writing and language.

• You have a class B driving licence.
